Even if you have not specifically agreed on this with your customer. Your customer may then withdraw from the agreement. Even for reasons such as not having thought it through properly, needing the money for something else after all, or not liking the colour of the product.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<h2>Going out on the road? Stay alert!<\/h2>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>The right of withdrawal only applies if the agreement is concluded between a trader <span class=\"tooltip-icon\" data-tooltip=\"A trader is someone who acts in the course of his business activities. This therefore applies to any entrepreneur who offers products or services to natural persons.\">?<\/span> and a natural person. <span class=\"tooltip-icon\" data-tooltip=\"Between two businesses there is no statutory cooling-off period, unless the parties agree otherwise contractually. The cooling-off period also does not apply between two natural persons who conclude an agreement.\">?<\/span> In addition, the agreement must have been concluded at a distance <span class=\"tooltip-icon\" data-tooltip=\"The buyer and seller are not jointly physically present at the time the agreement is concluded.\">?<\/span> or outside the business premises <span class=\"tooltip-icon\" data-tooltip=\"The business premises is the address where the seller carries out his activities on a permanent or usual basis. Think of a telephone contract, an online purchase, street sales or door-to-door sales.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>Is there an agreement as described above? Then the natural person has 14 days to withdraw from the agreement without giving any reason. <span class=\"tooltip-icon\" data-tooltip=\"When this period starts depends on the type of agreement. In the case of the purchase of a product (consumer sale), the period starts when the natural person has received the product.\">?<\/span> This is only different in specific cases, such as the purchase of products that perish quickly, products that cannot be returned for health reasons, or if your customer explicitly asked you to visit them (instead of coming to your business premises). <span class=\"tooltip-icon\" data-tooltip=\"Feel free to ask us about other grounds for exemption.\">?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>If your customer exercises the right of withdrawal in time, you are obliged to refund any payments received within 14 days. The customer must, where applicable, return the products. The costs of return are for the customer.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<h2>Prevent yourself from being disadvantaged; inform your customer in time<\/h2>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>As a trader, you have a statutory obligation to inform the natural person in clear language <span class=\"tooltip-icon\" data-tooltip=\"This is not the only information obligation you have in the case of a distance contract.
